We use child centered activities and manipulatives. The child is given the freedom to explore activities at their own pace and interest.
Enriched literature is used to support our monthly themes.
Manipulatives and everyday materials are used to help the child learn the basic concepts of numbers and mathematics.
Children are allowed the freedom to play and given creative playthings to encourage a learning experience.
We provide a weekly program with a Spanish teacher speaking to the children in Spanish and instructing them on numbers, letters, objects, songs and phrases that coincide with our themes and concepts.
A great way to socialize with the parents and children of LPA. A special way to spend quality time as a family.
We go on field trips to enhance our curriculum, support our themes and to have fun!
We are open throughout the year. Our location offers a large outdoor play area with separate fenced areas for different ages.
We use positive reinforcement and encouragement to help a child function with their teachers and peers. We try to work together with the parents to provide consistency for the child.
We encourage parent involvement. If you would like to help with field trips, spend a little time playing with your child, eat lunch with them or just observe them, let us know. Parents are always welcome.
We provide an excellent incentive program for reading readiness. We record each child's progress and schedule parent teacher conferences. Our preschool teachers currently have Montana teaching credentials.
